Chippewa Square or call for pickup.

The DOT is a fare-free service to help
visitors and residents get around
downtown Savannah. Included in the
system are shuttles servicing 24 stops in
the Historic District and the Savannah
Belles Ferry. Connects to municipal
parking facilities, visitor centers and ferry.
Please keep in mind that there are no free public
parking spaces on Tybee. We encourage our guests
to leave car(s) parked at your vacation home and
use alternative transportation like bicycles, island
taxi services, or even take a walk to the beach or
nearby restaurants and attractions.
Parking fees are used to fund island services like
lifeguards, beach bathrooms, beach clean up,
dune cross maintenance, beach renourishment
and other services. Parking fees are enforced 8am-
8pm, 7 days a week, all year. Most parking has
been converted to Pay & Display - when you park, if
& Display station, purchase time there and place
your receipt in a secure and prominently visible
place on your dash. These tickets are good for the
time printed at any space on the island including
those with regular meters. Rates are $1.50 per hour
on the side streets and Butler Avenue and $2.00 per
hour at the beach side lots.
There is a new ParkTYB mobile app available for
download on Google Play and the App Store.
ParkTYB allows you to pay and extend parking time
from your mobile device. Details are available on
the app.
When parking in Savannah it is important to pay
close attention to the posted signage, loading
zones, time limits, and especially street cleaning
hours so as to not receive a ticket during your visit.
Paid street parking is strictly enforced. Parking
garage rates vary based on garage and are
charged 7 days a week.
The City of Savannah offers a Visitor Parking Pass
which authorizes free parking on meters of one hour
or more, free parking in the City’s lots and parking
garages upon availability, and allows exceeding
the time limits in time-limit zones. The cost is $15.00
for a 1-Day Pass or $24.00 for a 2-Day Pass. The
passes can be purchased from the Savannah
Visitor Centers located at 301 MLK Blvd. (open 9am-
5:30pm) or the Parking Services Department which
is located at 100 E. Bryan St. (Bryan Street garage
- open 8am-5pm, M-F).
There is also a ParkSavannah mobile app that can
be downloaded and used on numbered spaces. It is
a convenient way for drivers to pay and keep track
of their metered space. Download ParkSavannah
mobile app to learn more about parking garages,
zones and meters.
