CRUISIN’ THE ISLAND
Opt to leave the car keys at home and hop on a bike
because Tybee is a cyclist’s dream. Head over to Fat
Tire Bikes and Tim’s Bike & Beach Gear for all your bike
rental needs. Adults, kids, tandems, trikes, you name it,
they’ve got it! On two wheels, visitors can explore at
their own pace with a relaxing ride along the 3 miles of
available beach space or by utilizing the lanes marked
“Bike Route”. You’ll never have to worry about parking
again with handy bike racks placed around the island
for your convenience. Once you’re cruising, check out
the scenic bike path through Jaycee Park, a lovely 8.5
acre green space on the north end of the island that
features a meandering waterway, playground, and a
disc golf course!
TYBRISA STREET AND DOWNTOWN
The downtown district of Tybee is one of the most
happening spots on the entire island. Before your big
beach day, head to one of the many shops that line
Tybrisa Street for all of your gear. T.S Chu’s Department

stop by. Beau and Arrow Frozen Yogurt is a brand new
spot offering cold treats to beat the heat. Take a walk
down the Tybee Island Pier, which features wide-open
views of the Atlantic Ocean, and some prime people
watching. Before ending the night, make sure to head
over to Rock House. You can expect to play darts and
billiards while working up some liquid courage to sing
your favorite karaoke song! Don’t forget about the togo
cup policy allowing you to take your drink with you,
which will come in handy after visiting Wet Willies, known
for their frozen concoctions. Fannie’s on the Beach is a
fun spot with live music and great ocean views from the
balcony, and a perfect way to close out the night.
TAKE ON TYBEE OAKS
The Shops at Tybee Oaks are a funky collection of
artists, galleries, shops, and local hangouts with a feel
that’s truly Tybee. Latitude 32 is a Tybee Island original,
offering high quality apparel and accessories with
their unmistakable turtle logo. Don’t forget to stop by
Glazed and Confused, a paint your own pottery studio
with over a hundred items to choose from. Perfect for
