Thank you for all that you send to
me: the Dedicated Decades, prayer cards,
leaflets and notes of encouragement.
I speak only Spanish and there is not
much available here. At times, when
doubt, anguish and fear set in, and when
prayers seem unanswered, God is so
good and allows for a card, a book and
His news to arrive at the perfect moment.
It is such a comfort to know that Our
Lord and the Virgin Mary allow for us,
their children, to communicate and
share their message of love and unity.
< Juan - Torrell Unit, TX > The Peace of Jesus Christ! Many years
ago, when I lived in Houston, I belonged
to your Living Rosary and prayed my
Mystery every day. In the meantime,
I have been moved several times and
I lost your mailing address. I found a
piece of your literature at this Federal
Medical Center and it has your address.
I am a patient here. Eight years ago, I
suffered a stroke and have been bedridden
for these many years. Yes, I am
typing this letter laying on my side and
using one finger to get the job done
(smile)! Where there is a will, there’s a
way. Yes, yes, yes! I still pray the Rosary
every day. Please will you mail me my
Decade again so that I can continue to
pray it. I have become a professed
Third Order member of the Brothers
and Sisters of Penance of St. Francis.
Peace and all good things to you!
< Robert – NC >
I received your letter and the shredded
and torn mail that I had sent you which
had been damaged. At first sight of the
torn letter, anger and rage ripped
through my body and mind. I wanted
to know who was responsible; I wanted
them! Then, I remembered the prayer
I had prayed last night, “... God help
me to be a better Catholic ...” It is
now 5:30 a.m.; breakfast is over and I
have said my morning prayers. Your
letter holds so much love and wisdom.
I think your words would humble a
bear. Every letter you send speaks
directly to my soul and guides me.
Lately, I have been holding spiritual
studies with some of my brothers here
in prison using the materials you have
sent. I am the only one in this unit
registered as a Catholic. Until they have
been approved by the chaplain, they
cannot receive your materials. If you
send them to me, I will give to those
who are eager to read about the Living
Rosary. Here, we are doing what we can
among ourselves as a family to bring the
sacred gift of Our Lady to each other.
Thank you for walking with us.
< Tyrece – FL > I received a note from the mail room
telling me that I cannot have your
envelope. We are not allowed to receive
anything that has color. All cards and
letters must be black and white only.
I am sorry this happened.
