Finally, now, after my heart surgery, I
am on the mend. The operation was a
success but the trauma afterwards had
not been expected. For 5 hours, I was
in the surgical theatre, recovered and
was taken to a room. The next day, complications
arose and I was taken back to
surgery, my chest reopened and repairs
made. Thus, the healing has taken
more than a month. St. Philomena was
with me, that great miracle worker,
and I was able to speak to many people
about her and promote her in the
hospital in Rome, and never lost a
moment. I sent her chaplet to all the
doctors who took care of me. Nothing
is refused to her! Her oil is restorative,
and gives so much comfort. I am on
my way to Jerusalem. I should rest but
there will be plenty of time in the
cemetery for that.
Thank you for the Mass stipends for
the Scapular Confraternity members,
and the Novena of Masses I offer for
all of our members each month in
Jerusalem. I have been re-elected to the
Governing Board of the Custody of the
Holy Land. St. Philomena will support
me. I am to have further surgery at
the end of November in Rome for an
aneurysm they discovered under my
right knee. God help me! Please keep
me in your prayers. With every blessing,

The world is united daily in prayer
and apostolic action through the
ULRA of St. Philomena. The Kiswahili
materials you distribute constitute an
effective and efficient medium of
reaching out to many souls, especially
those who have not gone to secondary
school. We thank God for your help. I
enclose pictures of new members of
the Living Rosary of Fahari Secondary
School students. It is important that we
capture Dar es Salaam and Tanzania
at large because evils like abortion,
Freemasons, gays and others are
mushrooming in our midst. I want to
spread the Rosary to fight these horrible
crimes against God and humanity. We
need energy, zeal, prayer and action.

Enclosed are photos of our members
during our Catechists Formation. With
them are the religious articles you have
donated.

How are you? We miss the ULRA!
Your updates do so much to boost our
zeal. Recently, the Holy Father visited
Philippines and he urged us to update
our contemplative life, and abandon
our constitution. Please pray for us!
