How we fell in love with
We were fortunate enough to
meet Olivia Bradley right before
the What Women Want expo last
month. She took all of the professional
photos that you will see in the
expo recap pages. We hadn’t even
seen the work before we knew we
wanted to write about her. Jet and I
both really liked Olivia. She just had
a light, happy energy and was so
open and friendly. Throughout the
day, vendors were asking me about
her because they had loved talking
with her so much. I don’t think it is
an exaggeration to say she made an

impression on everyone she met.
Again, this was before we saw her work, and, once we saw
the beautiful work she did on the expo, we were gushing!
Snappy PLUM Photos is a labor of love for Olivia. She
has been in the medical industry for most of her career because
she “wants to help” people in any way she can. Having
always been a creative type, Olivia began taking photos at a
very young age, developing a passion for capturing important
moments for people. While she still has her medical job,
she spends the rest of her waking hours working on her passion
project, her business.
Her photos of our expo are incredible, connecting with
each vendor and speaker and taking wonderful candid shots,
her preferred type of photo. Olivia told me that she loves to
take photos of people experiencing the occasion, living in the
moment instead of posing with an unauthentic smile. Her
business name has great meaning, which points to her philosophy
and love for what she does. Snappy comes from a
lifetime of hearing her uncle and family say, “Come on, let’s
snap the picture!” She is referencing something that a lot of
youngsters may not get; we used to snap photos, not push
a little button on our phones. PLUM is an acronym, and an
homage to her mother, a poet. She wanted to include something
that made her think of her mother’s ability to write, so
she included a perfect
acronym,
hidden in a color
she has always
been “passionate”
about (her words),
and her favorite
fruit. Photographing
Life’s Unique
Moments. It’s a
perfect expression
of what drives her.
Olivia told me
that she desires
to be with a client
for all of their special
moments. She
wants to photograph
the engagement,
the wedding,
pregnancy,
birth, and all the
way through to
that baby’s graduation,
engagement
and so on, building
lasting relationships.
Her ability of putting people
at ease enables her to get the
best shots, capturing those
special events and presenting
them to the client.
I don’t think this publication
has ever endorsed a

end, the experience of working
with her made us want
to give back to her, and she
has asked for nothing in return.
Her personality is just
so inviting and her photographic
work is exceptional.
