a vacation. But while you’re away, are
they enjoying themselves too? Or are they depressed, lonely,
not sure if you are coming back, etc. These are some of the
worst thoughts that can go through a pet owner’s mind.
If that describes you, there is a solution. Awe For Pet’s
Sake Pet Resort. It’s not your normal dog boarding facility.
It is more of a “home away from home”. A trip to grandma’s
house. A vacation for your fur babies, as described by owners
Gary Ford and Kevin Brian. When Gary opened Awe For
Pet’s Sake Grooming facility about 2 years ago, most of his
customers were asking about boarding facilities in the area.
So, Awe For Pet’s Sake Pet Resort began its journey of becoming
a reality. With the “dome” becoming available, and prime
location, the Pet Resort/Day Care opened.
Awe for Pet’s Sake Pet Resort is all about taking care of
clients and their parents. With newly built stalls, raised beds,
blankets, toys, play time, free time and nothing short of love
received from both owner’s (and of course dog lovers). To
make each fur baby’s stay comfortable, Gary and Kevin strive
to make their Resort just that, a Resort with the comforts of
home. One way is to be sure that your Fur Baby stays on the
same feeding schedule they receive at home. Same attention
to detail when it comes to play or walking schedules. And
yes, there is even a “nap” time, although it is not quite clear
if it is for Kevin too, who is always on the premises, it seems.
All this for the love of the four-legged friends (dogs or cats).
With more than 20 years in the business, Gary and Kevin

business health and wellbeing. It’s more than just grooming
and pet day care, it’s about being a part of this wonderful
community and being welcomed with open arms. Although
they are cousins, they are more like brothers, and since they
have the same personalities, and a great working relationship,
it only stands to reason that this wonderful partnership falls
over into their business. Some clients are so happy they don’t
want to leave. Kevin wears different hats to run the Resort,
never sitting still, while Gary, the pet stylist, runs the groom-

love, you are not really working, that is how I feel”.
The Resort is at the popular building known in town as
the Dome, adjacent to the Zephyrhills Veterinarian Clinic.
Gary and Kevin took the inside and turned it into something
������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������
for their clients. In the entrance way there is a window looking
into two play areas. This allows the dogs to look out and
see the activity, in other words, they are not just locked in a 4
walled area. The interaction results in happy, sociable clients.
Gary speaks of one customer, when it came time to pick up
her Fur Baby, her pet was having fun playing and completely
ignored her. Such is the atmosphere at All For Pet’s Sake Pet
Resort.
The individual dog stalls have raised beds, soft thick pillows,
bed coverings, raised dishes and sized according to the
size of the dog. The Pet Resort offers 3 ranges of room types,
from a basic room to an upscale suite for your pet’s comfort.
No matter which room you choose, it will be your Fur-Baby’s
“Home Away From Home”. There is plenty of opportunity
for play time, outside time and free time. If the dog is sociable,
it is allowed to run and play to interact with the owners
3 dogs that are usually on the premises. Even if the dog is not
sociable or is aggressive, accommodations are made for play
time and free time, but kept separate from others so as not
