the Publisher
OOur February/March issue, for me, marks the beginning
of Spring: warmer weather moving in, gardening plans, grass
will be growing, and so on. And with this new season Florida
Women Magazine is also changing. We have begun subscriptions,
expanded our distribution area, increased our staff,
created a NEW Website and more!
We touch on a few important subjects this month, one
being Anorexia Nervosa. I had a conversation with Wendy
Levine, a local author who graciously let me read her book
that chronicles her life living with this debilatating disease.
I am hoping that our article will somehow reach out to those
suffering, to know there is help. Her book is a must read to
learn more whether it is for yourself or someone you love.
We begin our 3 part section on Green Products. First, we
cover a few products good for the environment, next month
we will delve into products that are “natural” and better for
us, along with food of course, and then we will go into essential
oils, and more.
The Women of Color image on our cover is a tribute to the
struggles and diversity that “women of color” have fought
through history. The research was overwhelming and was

the effort.
We have wonderful artists featured this month and a
great article on treating wrinkles with stem cells! - That’s right
ladies ... wrinkles!!
In addition, we discovered 2 great restaurants. Be sure to
read about them in our BITE! Reviews. So much more to tell,
but not enough room, so please keep reading us.
