POSSIBLY THE RAREST AND MOST FAMOUS CLASSIC
CHRYSLER TO EXIST
1947 CHRYSLER TOWN & COUNTRY
This 1947 Chrysler Town and Country sedan, “Big Red,” is the flagship of the four known to exist and is a well-known example in the Chrysler community. It was treated to a
comprehensive nut-and-bolt, frame-off restoration in 2006 and no detail was overlooked for originality - including the window visor, roof rack and dual spot lights.
In addition to cosmetic work, the engine and transmission were rebuilt. After its no-expense-spared restoration, Big Red won its class at Meadow Brook and received both
an AACA Junior and Senior award. Still in near-perfect condition, Big Red has been well cared for by the same owner since 2009. Accompanying documentation includes
restoration photos and receipts, multiple magazine articles and show awards. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to own an extremely rare piece of Chrysler history!
