“One of the most innovative songwriters working today,” (Chicago Tribune),
Werner crafts lyrics that are as sharp as thistles, and every bit
as funny as they are on point. A giant on the acoustic scene, Werner is
by turns wry and passionate on stage, and famous for her live shows.
ESTERIO SEGURA’S 48 ENTRIES INTO HAVANA
TUE FEB 9 (RAIN DATE FEB 10), 7PM
World renowned Cuban artist Esterio Segura hosts this one-ofa
kind dinner event, under the stars at Key West's Oldest House.
Segura’s notorious artwork, 48 Entries of the Victorious Hero into
Havana, consists of 48 dinner plates, one for each year of Castro’s
time in power, and depicting Castro in flagrante with the city of
Havana, represented as a woman. A traditional Cuban dinner will
be prepared by Chef Martin Liz.
$20, $15 MBRS
A text message sets off a chain reaction that alters the lives of many
who live in Smithtown. The play asks the question: how does technology
and the need for immediate gratification undermine common
sense and the rules of behavior in contemporary America.
Starring Michael Urie, Ann Harada, Colby Lewis and Constance Shulman.
