EVOLUTION: NEW WORKS BY
OLGA MANOSALVAS
SANGER GALLERY
Olga Manosalvas watches from afar, commenting with
her brush and with her hands. The resulting paintings
and sculptures depict island dwellers, Mardi Gras revelers
and voodoo queens with a distinct voice of the
tropics. Influenced by her Ecuadorian ancestry, Olga’s
work provides a vantage point from which she, and her
viewers, can question the everyday.

HOME AT THE END
OF THE WORLD
CURATED BY RITA TROXEL
ZABAR LOBBY GALLERY
Key West has no shortage of tales to
tell. Photos from Home at the End of
the World, a collection of stories from
the 1960s-80s, capture the muses of a
golden era of Cayo creativity.
This exhibition will be highlighted by a
special live event and book signing on
April 5th. (see p. 25)
Scott Ponemone began his current
watercolor project as a way to focus
on human interactions. Each painting
presents the unique dynamic between
two subjects with an established relationship
— couples, friends, relatives
or co-workers.

The dancers in Piscopink’s stunning
photographs inhabit an ethereal underwater
dream world, offering both
an escape from the day to day, and a
deep connection to nature, the human
form, imagination, and profound
spiritual forces.
