1963 FORD GALAXIE 500XL
Here is the chance to own a truly special Galaxie 500XL. This “Q” code ‘63 has been meticulously restored by probably the finest in the country (maybe the world). Donald
Allen, in Clarksville, Georgia is the go to guy for 63/64 Galaxies, and a careful examination of this gorgeous specimen will clearly reveal why. No detail was overlooked
when this 500XL was restored and the awards prove it: Senior National 1st prize (2010) and Grand National 1st prize (2012). This factory 4 speed sports a 427ci, 410 hp
engine with a 4-barrel carburetor. The beautiful code “42” blue vinyl interior pairs perfectly with the correct Corinthian White paint (M), both of which still present
in show winning condition. The
undercarriage of this vehicle
looks like it was restored
yesterday and the tires are
like new. Additional options
include full fender skirts, body
side molding, dual exterior
chrome mirrors and more. As is
the norm with any Donald Allen
restoration, this Q-code Galaxie
500XL is absolutely superb and
would serve as the crown jewel
in any collection.
