ways to help you stay on track. You’ve heard “It
takes a village?” Well this is what our people say…
For starters, visualize your outcome. Picture
yourself at an event dancing the night away
in your little red dress. Even better, you could
put a picture of yourself on the refrigerator for
motivation of how you want to look. Setting
fitness alerts on your phone will also help remind
you of your goals.
Create accountability for yourself. Speak daily
with someone about food choices and share new
recipes. Sign up for an online food journal to help
keep track of food intake and which meals you
enjoyed the most. Planning and preparation will
make your meal times much easier and stress free.
Start each day with deep breaths and move onto
body stretches. This allows you to wake up at a
peaceful pace before hitting the ground running.
Remember it’s super important to drink lots of
water to help detox and curb your appetite. You
are setting yourself up for success by creating

Move your body more. Start by doing hoola hoop
motions or squats while brushing your teeth.
Take the stairs whenever available. Park your car
farthest away. Walk your dog. Do a little dance
when cooking or doing dishes!
Make some set-in-stone rules about your lifestyle
and eating habits that will help you stick to eating
a balanced diet. Adding more veggies to your
meals and always including a salad; replacing
fried with oven baked or grilled; and eliminating
added fats and oils will help you live with the
healthiest choices.
Because dietary changes can be challenging,
you may need coaching to achieve and maintain
