Here’s a sampling of where you can find delicious Jersey Fresh
produce, baked goods, and specialty items at Farmers’ Markets
throughout Monmouth County. farmers’ MARKETS
As you travel west from the shore, country roads dotted with
fields of growing vegetables and orchards of ripening fruit
come into view. Stop at farm stands and farmers’ markets
brimming with local produce, herbs, flowers and pies, or
make time to pick your own peaches, sweet corn, apples,
raspberries, pumpkins and more!
There are four seasons of back-to-the-earth activities to enjoy.
Stop at a vineyard for a tour and tasting. Snap photos of
fields full of tulips, sunflowers and pumpkins. Bring the kids
to a haunted hayride or corn maze. Return in winter to cut
a Christmas tree or dig up a live one. To find out what is in
season, what agricultural events are happening in the region
