After more than three decades with
the pedal to the metal, LeJeune has
throttled down. He is now semiretired,
living in Apollo Beach, playing
spending time with his girlfriend and
his dog, Miller the Beagle.
“I am enjoying the Florida life,”
LeJeune said.
Like many in such desirable
circumstances, LeJeune’s mind now
on a variety of things. And many of
invaluable teenage experience at Jesuit
High School.

“I attribute many of my successes to
the four years that I spent there, along
with the amazing gentlemen I met
along my journey,” LeJeune said. “The
Mr. (Frank) Llende, and Dr. (Elliot)
Egan, to name a few, made the biggest
impact.”
LeJeune’s nephew, ,
has helped keep LeJeune connected to
the school.
“He and I have spoken at length, around
what a completely enriching experience
this was for me (at Jesuit),” LeJeune said.
“These conversations made Jesuit an

join the school’s 1899 Bequest Society.
Bequest Society members are those who
indicate in writing that they have made
provisions for Jesuit High School in their
will or estate plans.
“My main reason for joining the Bequest
Society has to do with making sure that
the long-lasting traditions and culture
that I experienced during my time at
Jesuit are enjoyed by young men for
many years to come,” said LeJeune, who
is making a cash donation to Jesuit from
his estate.
LeJeune has strong, positive
recollections of his time on Himes Ave.
“My fondest memories are many, from
the excitement I felt upon receiving
my acceptance letter, to initiation, to
Homecoming,” LeJeune said. “These
were all monumental times in my years
at Jesuit.”
