Indie Street Film Festival
July 25–29, 2018, Red Bank | www.indiestreetfilmfestival.org
The Indie Street Film Festival returns to Red Bank in July,
bringing five days of film, art events, live discussions and a
genuinely positive, creative vibe to the community. In just
two years, this international film festival has presented over
130 films from 35 different countries and has attracted a
diverse blend of industry professionals, local moviegoers,
New Yorkers and international guests. Attendance across the
many film screenings and interactive events grew to about
4,000 in 2017.
“All of the events and live art during the festival help us to get
the town primed to watch and discuss some of the best-told
stories in independent cinema,” said Artistic Director Jay
Webb. “It’s all about connecting and celebrating differing
voices and perspectives. Bringing people together around
their differences is increasingly important in today’s society.”
Each year the festival kicks off with a youth community mural
to get the town buzzing around creation and collaboration.
With events throughout the weekend, including a community
barbecue, a liquid light performance, a headlining comedy
act, multiple parties and industry panel discussions, the Indie
Street Film Festival is a regional event that has earned its
place as a staple of the Monmouth County Arts Corridor.
