Throughout history, the creative works of artists,
musicians, and writers have shifted belief systems, changed
cultural mores, and brought beauty into the world. But no
book or piece of artwork has ever done more to shift the
atmosphere and make all right with the world than Grandma’s
cooking. And no one understands this any better than Lorenzo
Riggins. Maggie Riggins not only influenced her grandson’s
childhood development but also the direction of his entire life.
Lorenzo grew up in his grandmother’s home with his
mother, Christine Berry, and two younger brothers in the
Lorenzo Riggins opened Downtown Bistro and
catering in 2009. His assistant Robin Walker helps
with catering, decorating and running the restaurant.
