KATHLEEN
STEPP
K&M Antiques
Kathy has been in Florida since the age of 6, growing up in the
Brandon area. She moved to Zephyrhills about 4 years ago. With 3
grown children and a background in accounting, it was a complete
change to switch to the antique business, but it helps when it comes
to running the store.
Her partner Murph is the collector, but Kathy needed a change and
found that being in the antique business was interesting.
She really loves hearing the stories about the items that are bought
or brought in to sell. Interacting with their customers is the highlight
of the job. Along with that, it’s Kathy’s hidden talent for display that
makes you feel you have stepped back in time, and gives the store a
warm welcoming feeling. Each antique that she displays is placed with
just the right creative look to enhance the item, making it easy to get
lost while you are shopping.
