Pasco County is an outdoor lover’s paradise that offers great ecotourism and

area boasts 24 miles of shoreline to the west, hilly terrain to the east and more
than 100,000 acres of pristine wilderness to explore in between.
Located on the Gulf of Mexico at the top of Tampa Bay, Pasco is part of a
nine-county region referred to as the “Nature Coast.” Just 30 miles north
of downtown Tampa and about 50 miles west of Orlando, Pasco’s central
location makes it easy for visitors to enjoy all that West Central Florida has
to offer!
West Pasco
West Pasco boasts a coastal lifestyle and laid back atmosphere. There are
endless activities to pass the time on the water. Bar hop your way down the
Pithlachascotee River, as you kayak or paddleboard towards the beautiful
waterfront Sims Park. Once you dock, you’re a three minute walk from
historic downtown New Port Richey. It is the largest city in Pasco County and
features a historic downtown with shops, restaurants and beautiful Spanishrevival
architecture that brings out the old Florida feel.
Central Pasco
Enjoy the scenic part of Central Pasco in Land O’Lakes. It is nestled
among more than 100 glimmering lakes and blends laid back, country
living with close proximity to the attractions and conveniences of the
area. If nature isn’t what you’re looking for, shop ‘til you drop as you walk
the pedestrian-friendly Shops at Wiregrass. It has become a unique
community gathering place for visitors and residents, with concerts and
special events taking place throughout the year. Bring an extra suitcase if
you plan on visiting the Tampa Premium Outlets; they have over 110 of your
favorite retailers!
East Pasco
Cycle through the rolling hills of East Pasco County and make your way
towards downtown Dade City. It is a quaint Old Florida town with a historic
downtown square, unique specialty shops, restaurants, parks and trails.
It is known as one of the best antique shopping destinations in Florida.
Downtown Dade City draws visitors from around the state and around the
world to visit its more than 50 shops and eclectic lunch spots, and numerous
festivals year-round.
