September 9th, Coats Farmer’s Festival Harvest Queen Pageant, 6:30 pm, Held at Coats Erwin Middle School September 15th, 10 am, Raven Rock State Park, Spiders are Everywhere, Nature’s Seedlings is a monthly nature discovery program for ages 3 and up being held every third Friday of the month. Explore the world of nature through games, exploration, interaction and crafts. September’s program is Spiders Are Everywhere. It’s the NC State Park’s years of the Spider. We will be going on a spider hunt and learn about the webs they weave. Registration is not necessary but please notify us if you are bringing a group. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the program. Programs will be held outside weather permitting. Meet at the Visitor Center.
