Doug has chosen not to incorporate as a 501.c.3 organization, which means that donations are not tax deductible. But all monies received for the Foundation are used for the lease on the land, insurance, as well as food for the wildlife, woods preparation, feeders, and stands. The Foundation has also purchased hunting items for kids such as the Diamond Bow that was recently presented to David Kissel earlier this year. Volunteers with the Foundation include Joey Crane, Efton Green, Larry Brantley, Mike Lane, Stacey and Julie Martin, Buddy and Leatte Williamson, Jay Sineath, and many family members as well. For over 20 years, Doug and Lisa Williams have served our community through their business, Vidalia Carpet Center, which now also includes Vidalia Golf Carts. The entire community grieved when they lost their son. Even though life is temporal for us all, Tanner’s life created a legacy that lives beyond this world as family and friends work together to provide “the youth in our community and abroad a place to experience the outdoors and all the wonderful resources it provides.” ��TCM For more information, visit the Tanner Williams Foundation Facebook page.
