A Global Dream BY RENÉE MARTIN y the time Princetta Thomas was in the third grade, she was doing her own hair. By the 9th grade, her classmates were coming to her house after school to have their hair done for $5 each. “I had my own little business going,” said Princetta. It should have been a clue as to her future, but cosmetology was not in her plans. Although she didn’t yet know what she wanted to do, she knew it would be something international. “I was going to Middle Georgia College. I didn’t know what I was going to do, but my vision was to do something global. I’ve always said that.” All her big plans for the future changed the second half of her senior year at Vidalia Comprehensive High School when she found out she was Traveling the world gave Princetta Thomas a multicultural vision that she hopes to instill here in Toombs County. pregnant. “All that felt impossible.
