Kid’s Art Day & Student Art Show Altama Museum of Art and History Hometown Happenings APRIL Each year the Altama Museum hosts the Kids Art Day combined with the Student Art Exhibit. The event showcases works from area schools and art groups and offers visitors a chance to “get their hands dirty” with on-site crafts and art projects. Ross Sharpe come to life in Tales from the Altamaha: Fiddlin’, Feudin’ & Foolishness. The stories played out on stage spotlight the many colorful personalities who called this area home. Their tales always bring a smile–if not a down right knee slappin’ laugh–to the audience and reflect on bygone days.
