What's your favorite food to eat? My favorite thing to eat is my dad's spaghetti. If I have a go-to meal, that would be it. Do you cook at home for your family? I don't cook at home like I cook here. I have two kids, ages two and six. The two year old will try anything, the six year old not so much. It’s definitely more casual at home. What's the hardest part about being a chef? What's the most rewarding? The hardest part is trying to build a team of people that have a similar vision as the restaurant and me. I tell the staff the same thing: try to impress yourself first, and then try to impress me. If we can do that, we should be able to impress the customer no problem. The most rewarding is the camaraderie with the team in the kitchen. We all have the same goal to impress each other and ultimately see people leave happy.
