LYONS MAIN STREET The Lyons Main Street program understands how important a downtown area can be, and we work to improve our Main Street every day. We help new businesses find a place to locate, offer design help, coordinate beautification projects and issue facade grants to assist in structural integrity and painting of buildings. We offer businesses a chance to promote themselves through Coffee Before Hours and collaborative advertising efforts. We are powered by volunteers! The 108 Toombs County Magazine events hosted through the Lyons Main Street program include an award winning folk-life play “Tales from the Altamaha” in April, The Southeast Georgia Soap Box Derby in May (with rally races throughout the year), The Real Squeal BBQ & Music Festival in October, and a Veterans parade and Winter WonderLyons in November. All of these events are sponsored locally and run by volunteers. If you enjoy meeting new friends and being active in your community, Lyons Main Street is the place to be! All events have their own Facebook page so make sure to like them, and visit us regularly at www.lyonsmainstreet.com to see what’s happening in your downtown. Main Streets Matter! BEFORE AFTER BEFORE AFTER Let Main Street help you locate your new business!
