COUNTY FAIR
The 44th Monmouth County Fair, sponsored
by the Monmouth County Park System and
the Monmouth County 4-H Association,
runs July 24–28 in the East Freehold
Park Showgrounds, 1500 Kozloski Road,
in Freehold. With rides for the kids,
entertainment, stunt shows, fireworks,
pie-eating contests, classic cars, a variety
of delicious food and snack vendors and
competitions for best vegetables, baked
goods, crafts, quilts and more, the fair offers
old-fashioned fun for the whole family. Check

DowntownFreehold.com produces a variety of
events in the heart of the town year-round. Enjoy the
popular weekly concert series on Thursday nights in
the summer and Wednesday nights in the fall. Bring

Freehold Raceway, the oldest daytime half-mile
harness racing track in the country is in town. The
Monmouth County Park System’s entertaining and
informative annual Monmouth County Fair, with 4-H
exhibits, amusement rides, entertainment, fireworks,
home and garden competitions, antique and classic
auto show and other special attractions is set for
Wednesday to Sunday of the last week of July at the
East Freehold Park Showgrounds on Kozloski Road.
