AQUARIUM at the BOARDWALK Jenkinson’s Aquarium always has a new adventure in store for explorers and animal enthusiasts of all ages. Since opening its doors in 1991, Jenkinson’s Aquarium has dedicated itself to the education, conservation and superior care of its diverse collection of animals. Current exhibits include their South African penguins, who welcomed two new members in 2015, the completely expanded and renovated Harbor Seals exhibit and the new Pine Barrens exhibit. Other attractions, such as the touch tank, allow visitors to get up close and personal with live animals. Knowledgeable staff members are always on hand to answer questions and offer new insights. The aquarium is open year round, closing only on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
