It wouldn’t be a night at Casino Pier without a ride on the Musik Express with the DJ playing the hottest songs or taking in the sights from the Sky Ride. If you are daring, you can soar over the ocean on SkyCoaster or get shot up in the air on Shore Shot. Casino Pier has always been a place of fun and excitement for all ages – classic rides, kid rides and thrill rides. After Superstorm Sandy left the infamous Jet Star rollercoaster standing in the ocean in 2012, Casino Pier rebuilt its lower deck for the following summer. Since then, nine new kiddie and thrill rides have been added, and this summer, the pier extension will include a new roller coaster, a Ferris wheel and much more. BREAKWATER BEACH WATERPARK Breakwater Beach Waterpark is one of the safest, cleanest waterparks in the area. The perfect spot to cool off on those hot summer days, the park consists of six slides, a wave pool, a lazy river and hot tub. In 2015 Breakwater Beach added two more thrilling slides—the aqua drop slide Salem’s Scream . . . Oh My Cod and the serpentine slide Revere’s Wild Ride—as well as a brand new wave pool, The Harbor, a great spot to catch some waves and keep cool while still enjoying the sun. The park has a separate toddler section for the kids to enjoy all day long while the parents watch from the lounge chairs. The brand new Dockside Grill serves everything from hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, pizza and salads. The waterpark is a great place for group events, camps and birthday parties. CASINO ARCADE When you stroll on the boardwalk, your eyes are drawn directly to the castle, Casino Arcade, which is jam-packed with the latest video and redemption games, along with all the classic slot machines, skee-ball games for players of all ages. You can win tickets redeemable for great prizes or compete against each other in one of our numerous racing video games. MIDWAY GAMES At both the gateway to the Casino Pier and interspersed throughout the rides, you will find many games of skill and chance for everyone. Casino Pier has basketball tosses, water-gun games, Frog Bog, wheels of chance and much more. Prizes range from stuffed animal plush toys to the latest must-have electronics. Just think of all the fun you will have playing against your family and friends or just testing out your own skills. MINIATURE GOLF Fully operational in 2016 is Casino Pier’s new 36-hole multilevel Adventure Golf course. Smuggler’s Quay is a beautiful, state-of-the-art Polynesian-style miniature golf course with a waterfall that flows into the wave pool. Sitting above Casino Pier is the classic Wacky Rooftop Golf Course, an 18-hole course themed with traditional miniature golf fare, easy enough for children to play, but with challenging obstacles to make it exciting for more experienced mini-golfers. It’s a perfect spot to look over the boardwalk and watch the sunset over the bay. GO-KARTS On the Corner of Grant Avenue and Ocean Terrace, Casino Pier’s Go-Kart Track was expanded in 2015 to add an additional loop for racers. Cars are available in child and adult sizes, as well as two-seaters for the young racecar-driver-to-be. EATS AND TREATS Casino Pier has many food stands to tempt your appetite. Inside Casino Arcade, Pier Grill has the BEST pizza in Seaside Heights as well as the classic boardwalk favorites, such as cheesesteaks and sausage sandwiches, that you can enjoy in the comfortable air-conditioned dining area. Outside the Pier Grill, the Waffles & Ice Cream Stand makes the boardwalk’s biggest and best waffles and ice cream right in front of you while you wait. Curley Fries, near the Pier entrance, serves the freshest French fries, zeppoles and funnel cakes, made to order. EVENTS Save the date for Casino Pier’s Easter Sale. Every year on Easter weekend, there are HUGE savings for Breakwater Beach Waterpark, Casino Pier and Go-Karts. Every June, another fun event for the kids and parents is Casino Pier’s Scavenger Hunt. Breakwater Beach celebrates mascot Slider’s birthday at the waterpark the second Saturday in July with free t-shirts, face painting, games, prizes, pictures with all of Slider’s mascot friends and a bite of Slider’s birthday cake. If you have the stomach to compete, Casino Pier hosts their Annual Hot Dog Eating Contest every July and Waffles & Ice Cream Eating Contest every August. The Annual JDRF/FAAN Crab Race is also in August, with all proceeds going towards Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network. For a $5 donation, your crab will give you a chance to win one of the hundreds of prizes. Casino Pier keeps the fun going in the off-season with their Annual Fall Festival in October and Holiday Party in December, both in the Casino Arcade. CHILDREN’S STROLLING ENTERTAINMENT Casino Pier offers children’s entertainment every Tuesday and Thursday night in July and August from 7 to 10 pm with face painting, balloonists, musicians and specialty acts.
