Pauline was very instrumental in the
cause of Philomena. By an extraordinary
miracle worked through the intercession
of this young Virgin and Martyr,
Pauline was cured of a fatal heart
ailment. Pauline’s compassion for the
sick and suffering was ingenious; she
gave them the dignity of contributing
to the missionary work of the Church
through their prayers and a penny a
week for the missions. We should
always be actively involved in the life
and mission of the Church. We must
pray for the Church that there will be
a harvest of holy, zealous, Marian and
Eucharistic-centered priests, nuns,
missionaries and religious men and
women, brothers and sisters.
M
ay Pauline inspire us to love the
Church, to be missionaries in our own
little way by bringing souls closer to God
and the Sacraments! Be missionaries
in your own home, your school, your
neighborhood and your workplace.
Pauline never missed attending Holy
Mass and making frequent visits to the
Blessed Sacrament during the day. In
those moments of intimacy with God,
she obtained all the inspirations for
her works. We must decrease, so
that He may increase.
Pauline had a great and tender love
for Our Blessed Mother. Through the
Living Rosary, Our Lady is offered a
crown of beautiful Roses every hour
of the day. Before she died, Pauline
wore a smile, stretched out her arms
towards a statue of the Blessed Mother,
and her dying words were: “Mary, my
Mother, I am thine!” Let us consecrate
ourselves and our families to Mary’s
Immaculate Heart.
P
arents, gather your children, pray
with them, teach them and inspire
them. Consecrate them to the Blessed
Mother! We can learn so much from
Pauline. The world today is sick and
far from God. If only we will turn to
God, cry out for His help and PRAY!
May we be inspired by Blessed Pauline
always to seek God and His Divine
Will in our lives!
Blessed Pauline-Marie Jaricot,
Intercede for Us!
