1948 MERCURY CONVERTIBLE
An outstanding representation of the Mercury heritage in the convertible form, this beauty has had a no expense spared restoration that was fully documented with all receipts
that the new owner will get with purchase as well as the factory owner’s manual. It is equipped with a 239 cid L-head V8, three speed manual column shift transmission, solid
front axle and live rear axle with transverse semielliptic
leaf springs and four-wheel hydraulic
drum brakes. The interior was fabricated by
LeBaron Bonny to exact standards with correct
patterns and fine stitching. The simulated wood
grain dashboard has been faithfully recreated.
This is a beautiful example from the immediate
post war era that is ready for show anywhere.
