Hey, Ms. Patty, I am sending you my
permission slip for the Rosary beads.
I have been incarcerated for almost
5 years with no one to talk to and you
are an angel in disguise from God! It
took me almost 6 months to get the
permission slip. Now, Mary will help
to keep the ev il spirits away from me.

Thank you for the book,
Introduction to a Devout
Life. Prison life is hard, at
times, but we must purify
ourselves from the evil that
surrounds us. Thank you for
the literatures. I share it all
with my brothers in faith. The
COVID virus has run through
this facility. In the last report,
845 inmates and 165 staff were
infected, with 7 inmates dead.
We are tested every 3 days
now. We will be getting the
vaccine soon. We all get masks
every week with a little piece of paper
on which it is written in red ink in
Chinese, translated: “From the makers
and distributors of Covid-19, thank
you for your support.” Can you believe
it? I pray for all the members of the
Living Rosary and offer the fifth Joyful
Mystery – the Finding of Jesus, for you,
your family and loved ones throughout
13
the world. I unite with all the
Holy Masses and Communions offered
spiritually, too. < USA >
If at all possible, may I please receive
a Rosary and any books or literature
you may have on the Catholic Faith.
I have been practicing the Faith for
a while through some hard times as
I have been in prison nearly all my
adult life. But, I might be getting out
later this year. A friend told me to ask
for the St. Benedict Medal and the
Miraculous Medal which he wears
constantly and it gives him much
comfort. I hope I am not asking too
much as I have no money or family to
help me get these treasured things.
Hoping to hear from you soon! Please
s ign me up for a Decade. Respectfully,
< Ronnie - GA >
Thank you so much for your letter
which made me smile and be joyful.
Even though I am in a dark place, Our
Blessed Mother still shines her light on
me. I pray the Rosary two
times daily and lots of other
prayers. There is a voice in
my head which keeps telling
me that I would be letting
my God down if I didn’t. And
I don’t ever want to do that. I
love the little books you send
and I study them all. I would
love to have a Saint Joseph
chaplet. I now have St. Raphael
Archangel as my life-time
friend and companion, and I
thank God! Trouble is always
trying to get me, but I work
hard to stay focused and keep
my mind on God and Our Blessed
Mother and Jesus; they are all I need.

Thank you so much for your quick
response and your kind letter full of
encouragement, knowledge and prayers.
Most of all, thank you for my beautiful
Rosary prayer beads and most powerful
Brown Scapular. I feel complete! I
shared the materials you sent with my
brothers here and they send their
gratitude too. This will help us all
daily walk carrying our crosses full of
faith and in full submission to God’s
p l a n f o r o ur lives. Amen.
< Carlos, Santa Rosa - NM > I
am utterly sad and totally heartbroken!
About a week ago the prison,
where I am, was on high max security
lockdown; they escorted us to the
showers and locked us in the shower
cell. While locked in the shower cell,
the Tactical Squadron did a “shakedown”
or cell search. During the cell
