What’s happening with
the coffee scene here?
We believe we started a trend. We
knew in 2008 that coffee shops
would be the next big thing in
St Petersburg. Over the years St.
Pete has grown into a very artsy
and entrepreneur-focused scene.
With that came the overall explosion
of local coffee shops.
Must-see St. Pete venues?
The entire art scene: The Dali
Museum, Chihuly Collection, The
Palladium, Studio@620, American
Stage Theater and the murals. If you
haven’t been to any of these, take
some time to enjoy them. And of
course, add a visit to Kahwa Coffee.
What’s happening with
the coffee scene here?
Many people are moving here from
larger cities where they had many
options in food & beverage, so the
demand is high. St. Pete residents
are also very supportive of local
businesses and want to see them
succeed. All this combined with the
rise of specialty coffee has allowed
places like Intermezzo to blossom.
Must-see St. Pete venues?
My favorite places are in the food &
beverage world: Ted Peter’s Smoked
Fish, Annata Wine, Brick & Mortar
Kitchen, and Green Bench Brewery.
But one the best things about St.
Pete is its walkability
and
connectedness.
Many of
the best cities
in the world
all have this
in common.
