Aside from hunting, he’s taken couples out for
scenic airboat rides where the guests enjoyed
wine and a sunset picnic, as well as families out
for nature and educational tours.
"As captains, anglers and outdoorsmen, we have
a responsibility to protect and preserve the
environment," Tommy said. "I am a firm
believer in conservation, and I stand
proudly beside organizations that
consistently provide invaluable scientific
research, political and environmental
information and programs promoting
good ethics and etiquette practices."
Capt. Tommy knows the water in
this area more than most of the guides
around. He can look at the way water is
flowing, in or out of a bay, and tell you
where the fish are.
"It takes about 15 to 20 years to really
get to know and understand the waterways
around here," he said. “I just want to
see the water cleaned up for my kids and for
future generations.”
