I have been empowered by the ULRA.
There is a group of us who come together
often and pray our Rosary. You have
brought us together! < Clifford – OH >
Greetings of charity, grace and joy!
I cannot describe how happy I felt when
I saw your envelope passed through
my cell door trap. I had no way of
knowing the damage you suffered in
Dickinson, TX. If you could send me a
5” x 7” print of Jesus and Mary, I would
be honored to display it in my cell. Do
you offer catechism for adults? My thirst
for knowledge of God and the Faith
is insatiable! < Richard K. - USA >
I don’t know how long it has been
since I last wrote. Times are hard in
prison, and stamps and envelopes are
scarce. The year is almost over and I
am ready for the 2019 Calendar. The
prison would not give me the Rosary
you sent, so my group and I prayed
about it. Finally, they gave me the
Rosary. It is the most cherished thing
that I own here in this awful place!
This Rosary radiates so much joy in my
life. I pray it every day. Our Rosary
group continues. Please pray for us.
< Donald - USA >
Thank you so much for what you
sent me. I consider it a huge blessing.
I found out that the Hobby Unit is a
maximum security unit, considered the
worst in Texas and third worst in all
the USA. Scary! I feel I am in the belly
of the beast! I shall not fear. No weapon
formed against me shall prosper! God
did not give me a spirit of fear but of
strength, faith, power and love! I know
He is with me! My biggest sorrow here
is that there is no Mass. The priest has
taken a month off and, when he returns,
we will not be allowed to attend until
late December. I hunger for the peace
imparted by the Holy Mass! Pray for us.
< Hermina, Marlin – TX >
All your literature has been a blessing
to me. I am continuing in my everyday
study of my Catholic Faith. I am fully
dedicated to following my Faith; it was
the missing piece in my life. I will not
be released until 2022. I have nothing
material and nowhere to go. At 36, my
life has just begun. I know God knows
my heart and will guide me on my
journey to Him. < Chancey – GA >
Thank you for the box of pamphlets,
prayer cards and information you sent
to our little Catholic group here at
Florence McClure Women’s Correctional
Center. Your box is greatly appreciated.
< Melanie, Catholic inmate >
Please pray daily for us all. I am
presently on the “lock-down” Tier-II
program since October 3, 2015! Only
after I get out of lockdown, will I be
able to receive the things you wish to
send. < Michael >
The chaplain placed only a few of the
items you sent us for free distribution
and the rest were discarded. She no
longer works here but it has been a
suffering for us who hunger for them.
I am still learning the Faith and your
calendar was a great strength for me.
< Richard - RI >
Our prayers have been answered! I
have been relocated to a much better
prison with Catholic services every
Friday! A priest
comes every
third Friday
for Mass and
Confession.
Please send me
my Daily Decade. Peace and love,
< Joseph, GA >
