I woke up one morning and called a
novice to follow me as we walked into
the jungle. It was not easy to travel
and we got lost. I prayed and cried
out to St. Philomena to show us the
way. Immediately, I saw a clear road.
We met a man who was very surprised
to see us. He asked us, “Where are you
going? Where did you come from?
Who are you?” We told him, we are
the Sisters who are looking to build.
The man was not Catholic but, without
a second thought, he gave us eight
hectares of land. All the documents
necessary are ready. We finished
clearing the land. The area will be
known as MARYLAND - SAINT
PHILOMENA’S GROUNDS. Thank you
for your prayers and encouragement.
To St. Philomena, nothing is refused!

In my last letter, I asked you to pray
for my wife that she would find a new
job. As always, God answers prayers
and my wife found new employment.
Three years ago, I had prostate cancer
and, after the surgery, the side effects
and leakage were horrendous. When I
started to pray and ask St. Philomena
to intercede for me and God to heal
me, I rubbed the oil where I had the
leakage; it stopped!!! Thank God!

Happy St. Valentine’s Day to you! I
have a story I must share. About three
weeks ago, I went to morning Mass
and stayed for prayers afterwards;
then I joined folks at the local diner
for breakfast. One of the ladies told
me that she feels badly because her 29
year old grandson, who lives with her
and always will, came to her and said,
“I wish I could be useful grandma.”
This distressed her as she did not
know how to help him be useful. He
had brain surgery about 5 years ago
because of his epilepsy. He was having
ten seizures a day. The surgery cured
him of his seizures but left him with a
young brain which will not mature.
This touched my heart. I offered to
show her how to make the St. Therese
Good Deed Beads. I brought everything
they would need and showed them
how easy it is to make the Sacrifice
Beads. Other women wanted to help
too. More and more people heard us
talk about this project and they, too,
wanted to help. Thank you for your
letter to each one who has volunteered
to help.

I just had to tell you all the good news
due to your prayers for me and my
family. My little great-grandson, Logan
Joseph, will be baptized on February 23;
he just turned one on January 17 this
year. May you be protected from storms
and granted good health!
