My dear daughter, Mercedes Abernathy
was killed in a car accident on 11/19/18.
She had gone to Confession and
received Communion the day before
the accident. She prayed her Rosary
every day and died wearing the holy
Scapular of Mt. Carmel. < Athena - ID >
This is to inform you that I have passed
over the veil. My children will mail you
this note in hopes that you and all
who belong to our dear St. Philomena
and Our Blessed Mother will pray for
my soul. Please have the Latin Mass
offered for my soul and, if I make it to
Heaven, I will pray for all of you before
the Throne of God. I pray that my contributions
through the years helped
support our missionary work. I only
wish there was more that I could have
done. I love you all and hope to see you
in Heaven! < Frances Paladie - WA >
In 1992, I was introduced to the ULRA
by a friend and was given the second
Glorious Mystery, the Ascension. I have
been praying my assigned DECADE
faithfully all these years and was able
to enlist 14 other new members. I have
loved all your DEDICATED DECADES.
Your ministry all over the world is
awesome: The power of many through
the merit of one! You are always in
my prayers. < Mellie - PA >
I thank you so much for the Agnus Dei
disc that you sent to me. I say the prayer
every day. In 2012, my MRI showed that
my spine was deteriorating. The test
was repeated in 2016; after praying
the prayer twice a day all that time,
the tests showed almost no further
deterioration. Thanks to all the Rosaries,
St. Philomena and this beautiful
devotion to the Lamb of God. I cannot
thank you enough. I wait for your
bulletins and read them cover to cover.
< Patricia - LA >
About two months ago, you sent me
the “Christmas Novena” prayer cards
to put out in our 24-hour adoration
chapel. The people just loved them!
May you continue to do God’s work!
< Michael - NJ >
Since October 7, 2004, I have offered my
daily DECADE, the fifth Glorious Mystery,
the Crowning of Mary, Queen of Heaven
and earth. I will be 80 years old in
June. I love the DEDICATED DECADES
booklet. I have been the May Crowning
chairman in our parish since 1995.
Each year, it gets harder but your note
inspired me to make the effort again
this year. I love the Blessed Mother! I
feel I just can’t let her down. I thank
you for all you do. < Catherine - IA >
The big event at Providence Academy
here in La Crosse, WI, on 11/1/18 went
exceedingly well. I was a bit concerned
about giving a talk on St. Philomena
to the lower Grades, beginning with
kindergarten. How would they feel about
the tortures she endured without
traumatizing them? St. Philomena must
have been with us because all the Grades
and all the teachers in attendance were
interested, reverent and appreciative.
I was quite surprised to receive your
large box of “goodies” to distribute
at this event. All were given out and
the number of wrist cords you sent was
the exact number needed. How could
that be? I was asked to return to talk
about St. Philomena on All Saints
Day. I left Providence Academy, after
the talk, in a state of euphoria. All
went so well. Sincerely yours, < Msgr. Matthew Malnar – WI >
