The annual Strawberry Festival, one of Boca Grande’s most
popular community events, draws hundreds of bargain
seekers and lovers of homemade strawberry shortcake each
year. All proceeds support programs to improve the lives of
women and children locally and internationally through

Boca Grande’s dogs take to the Community Center’s
show ring to compete in the 2019 Boca Bowser. You
can participate in the fun tradition, loved by members
and the community, by volunteering, entering your dog,
and ordering one of the publicity posters that features

After a brief presentation about his work entitled, “Sharks,
Seagrass, and Stressors: Diverse Mote Research in the Florida
Keys,” Dr. Nowicki will be available for casual conversation
and Q&A. This free event is open to the public.

Dancing Under The Stars with Society Hill

Meet on the dance floor for a night of fun under the
stars with Society Hill, a 6-piece live band that will have
you movin’ and groovin’ to all your Motown favorites,
including Lionel Richie, Whitney Houston, Stevie
Wonder, The Temptations, and many more.
Society Hill is not your average party band. They bring
an incredible sing-along style with a dance-floor-filling
approach, for a fun and exhilarating experience. You’ll
have the opportunity to grab a bite to eat and connect
with friends before the band starts at 5:30 p.m. If you’d
like to add some cocktails to the mix, feel free to bring
your own bottle. Please leave golf-carts parked outside
the fence and your furry friends at home. A limited
number of tables and chairs will be provided for dining
and are available on a first-come basis. The dance floor
is open to all. Food available for purchase.

BIPS Green Gala “Call of the Islands”

Boca Bay Pass Club, 770 Gulf Boulevard, Boca Grande
Purchase tickets now and don’t miss the fun. “Call of
the Islands” is the theme. Enjoy savory cuisine,
Polynesian show and dancing, auctions and a cash bar.
All proceeds support the Barrier Island Parks Society,
Port Boca Grande Lighthouse & Museum and local state
parks including Cayo Costa, Don Pedro, Gasparilla and

Annual Bike Path Parade & Woman’s Club Fair
Saturday, March 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
5th Street & The Boca Grande Community Center
This annual event is one of the highlights of living in
Boca Grande. It’s a Spring Break tradition for families to
decorate their golf carts and parade along the path.
The start of the parade is located at 5th Street, lineup
is at 9:50 a.m. and the parade starts at 10:30 a.m. The
parade route ends at the Boca Grande Community
Center where the Woman’s Club Fair will be held starting
at 11 a.m. Free to attend and to register in the
