The new tennis courts, complete with bleacher seating, and the new pro shop.
have their own parking – three spaces each for
the four-bedroom villas and two spaces each for
the other cottages.
All of the buildings will be the same height and
will include one elevated story of living space
with parking underneath. They will be approximately
28 feet, two inches tall with a finished
grade of eight feet.
The seawall will remain, separating the cottages
from the beach. The front of the cottages will face
the Gulf, with the bedrooms toward the back.
A development order with Lee County has
been filed regarding turtle-compliant lighting, and
all the buildings will be ADA compliant.
The north parcel will be a walled
property, enclosed in primarily oldgrowth
vegetation. Many of the
existing trees, shrubberies and
sea grapes from the current
property will be relocated so
they can be repurposed and
incorporated into the new
plan.
The current maintenance
area that exists to the east of
where the dog park is now will
be smaller, and will be moved to
the corner of the new parcel.
Below, the new pool that will be featured at the fitness center, and one of the new cottage renderings.
