Wild Dunes
Wild Dunes is 1,600 private acres of beauty, nature, and relaxation. This oceanfront residential resort is bordered
by the Atlantic Ocean, Dewees Island and the Intracoastal Waterway, making it feel very separated from the outside
world. As you drive through the gates, you can feel the stresses of your everyday life disappear. The resort features
two and a half miles of white beach, two Tom Fazio golf courses, a top-rated tennis center, bike trails, salt water
lagoons, and a variety of exceptional dining options. Not only are the beaches pristine, the golf world-class, and the
amenities luxurious, but the setting in which they are located is nothing short of exquisite.
Known as some of the most beautiful in the Carolinas, the beaches of Wild Dunes are wide and secluded. It is
a beachcomber’s paradise, where daily walks return treasures of the sea. If a pool is more your speed, relax on a
chaise lounge with a drink and watch the kite boarders sail by. While golfing on the 17th and 18th holes of the
award-winning Links Course, you can literally see and hear the waves crashing in the Atlantic. The Harbor
Course meanders its way through lagoons and the Intracoastal Waterway, providing a challenging game in a
beautiful and almost surreal setting. Wild Dunes’ Tennis Center has consistently been rated among the U.S.
Top 10 Tennis facilities. Five of the 17 Har-Tru courts are lit for evening play. Exploring the four and a half
miles of bicycle paths and walkways is also a wonderful and picturesque way to spend an afternoon. With
turtles sunning themselves in the lagoons, the reeds blowing in the expansive marsh, and the boats docked
in the marina, your adventure will be memorable.
