Island Lighthouse as volunteer docents share the

On this exciting wading adventure, you’ll learn about local
habitats and environments, shells, sea grasses and marine
creatures! Then you’ll explore the Charlotte Harbor National
Estuary with an expert Florida State Park Ranger. You’ll wade
and carefully collect local marine life and view each through
a waterproof magnifying glass as a ranger explains fascinating
facts about each living treasure. Come explore nature. All

9th Annual Tour de North Port,
Imagine High School, 2757 Sycamore St., North Port
The 9th Annual Tour de North Port is a fun bicycle ride
through some of the most beautiful pine flatwoods in Florida.
Cyclists choose to complete 15, 35 or 65-mile route through
North Port. Includes breakfast by First Watch, rest stops with
homemade snacks, full SAG mobile support and a catered
lunch with homemade pie. Those registered by Oct. 1 are
guaranteed a ride t-shirt, our "got shade?" sunglasses, and a
goodie bag.
