Onewheel : The Self-Balancing Electric Skateboard
Onewheel is the closest thing to a
hoverboard you’ll ever find. It was designed by
a Stanford University engineer who grew up in
the Canadian Rockies and missed the sport of
snowboarding.
Onewheel quickly became popular in
California for commuters who wanted to stop
dealing with vehicular traffic. The board comes
with a Hypercore Brushless Motor and can go
up to 19 miles per hour. It also charges quickly
and stops on a dime.
The product is made and manufactured in
the USA. Retail prices start at $1,399.
