great child of God. Thank you for your
package which arrived in time for the
funeral. The pocket Scapular was placed
in the coffin with Cecilia.

It is a pleasure to write to you after this
long silence. We enclose photos of the
Feast of St. Philomena. We are working
with the youth and this devotion is very
well received. I need your prayers.

I go to places here in Antique: prisons,
hospitals and Barangays. Many people
are thankful for the Sacramentals
especially those in remote areas who
have nothing religious.

We are not so much ok here because
of tribal fights and already some have
died. The Bishop visited us but still there
is cold war. We need more support in
our mission, especially many people
should pray for us. I always cry because
there are so many injustices, violence
against women, children and the killing
of many innocent people. Thank you for
the Rosaries you send for our mission
in the midst of so many challenges.

From December until now, many
Refugees from Sudan have settled in
our Parish. It is estimated over 200,000
have come and more enter every day.
There are 8 Refugee settlements and
they have no Rosaries or religious
materials or cards. Many Christians
who live in the South of Sudan are
being converted to Islam. Please send
some holy objects, Rosaries, Scapulars
and Miraculous Medals as these are
urgently needed. I will organize 19
Holy Masses for your intentions and
the intention of those who prepare the
Rosaries. Your help is highly appreciated!

Thank you for your parcel to help
supply our missionary team with what
is needed as they travel to various outstations
in the Diocese. We have begun
another great registration for August 11.
Now, we are working very hard on
getting 1500 new members enrolled.
