The Manatee YMCA Nifty Thrift Shop
our mission, every dollar earned at the Thrift Shop helps children and families in need through programs such as gang prevention,
mentoring and leadership, summer/day camp, safe places before and after school, and other health and wellness services.
Donations are accepted at any of our branch locations in
Parrish, Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, and at the Thrift Shop.
Items may include clothing, furniture, toys, kitchenware,
sporting equipment, books, electronics, tools, and art.
Pick-up and delivery services are available for large items
discount at the Thrift Shop with membership card, and daily
specials are offered.
The Y believes that progress in our community is only

Book Drive
new or nearly new children’s books to donate to local school children.
Books must be suitable for children ages 5 to 13. Drop off your
books to any Manatee YMCA branch or YDASH program sites (Braden
Turkey Giveaway
The Y helps make the holidays possible for those in need. In
November, 600 turkeys were handed out to students and families in
the Pride Park area of Manatee County. The turkeys were given to
students at Harllee Middle School, Sugg Middle School, Visible Men
for Pride Park, visit manateeymca.org and click “Give to the Y.”
