In Loving Memory Robe Garne Concluding a life rich with second acts and encores, Robert Garnett took his final bow on April 26, 2017 A talented and devoted member of The Naples Players family, Bob Garnett will be remembered for his dedication and love of the theatre and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Bob served The Naples Players wherever and whenever he was needed, from acting in and directing TNP shows to serving on the Board of Directors for many years and as TNP Board President from 1987-1988. Bob’s efforts were instrumental in building The Naples Players into the highly respected theatre it is today. Driven by his passion and strong work ethic, Bob was instrumental in locating The Naples Players first permanent home at the Kon Tiki Theatre. Bob’s most recent acting credits include A Christmas Carol, Retreat From Moscow and House of Blue Leaves. He directed More Fun Than Bowling on Blackburn in Summer 2004. Our thoughts are with Bob’s wife Debi, a beloved member of the TNP family. Margaret Ann “Peg” Pleasance Peg Pleasance passed away on April 2, 2017. While living in Naples, Florida, she spent many years as an active member of The Naples Players and will be remembered by all for her warm smile and community spirit. When Peg and her husband Charlie retired to Naples in 1987, they had time not only to enjoy a favorite pastime of seeing theatre but to get involved with theatre, specifically with The Naples Players. Peg started volunteering as an usher at the old Playhouse, back when the ushers roped off chairs, when the roof leaked and drinks were served from plastic bottles at intermission. We are proud to have the Peg and Charlie Pleasance Light and Sound Control Room here at The Naples Players as a reminder of Peg and her many contributions to TNP. MEMORIAL GIFTS A gift in memory of Peg or Bob can be made to The Naples Players online by visiting www.naplesplayers.org or mailing gifts to The Naples Players, 701 5th Avenue South, Naples, FL 34102. 34 In Loving Memory
