Saturday, Sept. 2 14th Annual Venice Triathlon Starts at Sharky’s on the Pier, 1600 S. Harbor Drive,Venice The Venice YMCA hosts a triathlon each fall on a closed course that moves participants from Sharky's on the Beach through downtown Venice. Athletes will swim 1/4 of a mile, bike 12.1 miles and run 3.1 miles. The event is open to individuals or relay teams. Registration from Tuesday, Aug. 1 through Wednesday, Aug. 30 is $100 for individuals and $190 for teams.
