Here's a hint if you go: Don't look for a steering wheel, because there isn't one. The vessel has a vertical throttle that turns it left and right and a shifting gear throttle with a button to raise and lower the motor just like any other small powerboat. When we felt more confident, we left the marina and headed out to Lemon Bay. After clearing the manatee and no-wake zones Rachel gave the thumbs up to pick up the speed. Conner, the Pressly’s 16-year-old son, is the dockhand and is also a tour guide at the marina. He grew up in Englewood and is extremely familiar with the local waterways.
