Greetings from St. Philomena’s House in Kumasi-Ghana! We are very pleased to inform you that, on June 9, Alex and Anthony Kaba visited St. Paul’s Junior High School, New Amakom. The Chaplain of the Community, Rev. Fr. Nkrumah and the headmaster of the School, Mr. Owusu Achiaw and the entire school gave them a warm welcome. On June 7, they visited St. Paul’s Catholic Primary School and were warmly welcomed by the headmaster, Mr. Michael Gyamfi and all the teachers of the School. All the pupils assembled and they had the privilege to preach to them about the ULRA, Our Lady, the Rosary and St. Philomena. The children were so happy to receive the Miraculous Medals, Rosaries and their Decade Cards. Everybody was very interested to be a member. Thank you for all your support! The Charismatic Movement here is the richest society in the Catholic Church. They have great benefactors from Europe and America, who have built mansions for the Movement as guest houses. They also have big buses to transport their members to their prayer camps, free of charge, and supply them with free meals. They have complete band stands and loud speakers for all their activities. For funerals and other social activities, they provide members with transport, band stand and donations. Therefore, the members benefit a lot from the Movement in terms of worldly things. The Movement has attracted many people and their membership is great. This is what we battle! < Patricia - GHANA >
