13 and, here, they are more lenient to Catholics. Please send me a Rosary, Scapular and anything Catholic. At our present location, we do not have Mass, religious materials or anything Catholic. To have a Rosary, would be a great blessing. < Joseph - FL > I am writing to testify of how much wholeness I have in my life now, since I was assigned a Decade of the Rosary to pray. Meditating on the Mystery and offering myself each morning to God has changed my life. Where once I was a man of temper and rage, I have come to know peace and to spread it around me! I have been touched to the heart by the stories and pictures in your magazine. I must stay firm in prayer. Please pray for me. < Juan - TX > I am Catholic and have not prayed the Rosary since I was in prison. Being disabled, I work for room and board, and get no money. I have not been able to buy a Rosary. I am at my wits’ end as to figure out how to get one. I do not drive or know anyone who is Catholic and I am surrounded by Protestants. Thank you for helping me. In His loving arms, < Shane – USA > I am a Catholic who is under death sentence here in Florida. I am confined to a 9 x 6, 54 sq. feet “cage” 168 hours of the week and allowed 3 hours of recreation each week. I have been incarcerated since February 1990, yes for 27 years! I was 21 when these cell doors closed behind me. I don’t have an education. People call me Ronnie. I was an only child. My dad is in prison serving a life sentence for murder. I grew up in a household with no role model, but lots of drugs, alcohol and violence. When I was 8 years old, my grandmother was giving me hardcore pornography magazines. God was absent from my life. I so desperately need a blessing, some merciful and compassionate soul to write to me and teach me how to love God. I pray someone will read this and send a letter. Thank you for your time. I pray for your help. Anxiously, I will wait for the mailman. < Ronnie - FL > I am now in an adult correction institute in Rhode Island. Last year, in Fall, I decided to convert from Islam to Catholic. Before my detention, I knew nothing of the Catholic Faith but, in the Spring, I bought 3 necklaces with Our Lady of Fatima charms, thinking they were associated with Fatimah Bint Mohammad, daughter of the founder of the Islamic religion. The necklaces were gifts for my three daughters. I had no idea of the profound message of Our Lady of Fatima. I was dumfounded to learn the whole story of Fatima and that She was guiding me to her Son. Joe recently sent me the Dedicated Decades magazine and I love it! Please enroll me in the Living Rosary and send me more booklets. They are a blessing! In Jesus and Mary, “love you.” < Brother Richard > “That night, I asked the Mother of God what was to become of me. Then, She came to me holding two crowns: one white, the other red. She asked if I was willing to accept either of these: the white one meant that I should persevere in purity, and the red that I should become a martyr.” I chose them both. ~ St. Maximilian Kolbe ~
