Entrepreneurs Aaron and Katie Koher also were curious about that question and it sparked an idea for a new business venture. After doing some research, they learned about glass bottom boats. The ultra-light, clear kayaks are safe and made from polycarbonate, which is the same material as bullet-proof glass. And they launch right here at the north fishing pier in Boca Grande seven days a week, weather permitting.
