Dawn arrived early at Brookgreen Gardens on the chilly morning of March 15, 2017. Shortly afterward, she could be found working in the Zoo Kitchen, measuring and preparing proper diets for each animal in the Lowcountry Zoo. She then assisted Animal Keepers in feeding goats, waterfowl, reptiles, and a herd of deer, and doing an afternoon wellness check of the animals on exhibit. Th ese duties were unusual for Dawn Kinard, the Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Offi cer of Coastal Carolina National Bank, but they are quite typical of the activities of participants in Brookgreen’s “Zookeeper for a Day” program, which is now Kinard works with Sara Robinson, Animal Keeper Community Brookgreen's by Wendy Wilson Belser, Director of Philanthropy and Membership CCNB's Dawn Kinard feeds Sparky ~ 8 ~
