SHARE YOUR HISTORY ON BROOKGREEN’S BIRTHDAY Lowcountry Auditorium July 13, 1:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Bring your family heirlooms, photographs, portraits, archival material, and other items that relate to the history of plantations in Georgetown County, especially the Brookgreen Gardens property (Laurel Hill, Springfi eld, Brookgreen, and Th e Oaks Plantations). We want to photograph them as well as provide an opportunity for you to lend them for a future exhibition. Experts will be on hand to help identify your objects. NATIONAL SCULPTURE SOCIETY 84TH ANNUAL AWARDS EXHIBITION August 5 – October 29 Th e annual juried exhibition of the National Sculpture Society, the oldest professional organization of sculptors in America, presents the work of masters alongside rising stars in American sculpture. Th is exhibit will be on display in both galleries of the Rainey Sculpture Pavilion, and is free with garden admission. Th is Motown Tribute Concert will include the hits of the Temptations, Th e Jackson 5, Th e Supremes, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Th e Four Tops, Th e Commodores and many, many more. Returning to the concert stage in 2017 will be Brookgreen favorite and Trans Siberian Orchestra star Dustin Brayley who will be joined by a cast of accomplished singers and musicians from around the country.
